This Calgary-based company is a long-time labour of love for its Founder & Principal Designer, Jenn Stephenson, who believes deeply in the capacity of our homes to nourish, comfort and uplift us.
Infusing her love of home and interior design, a successful 23+ year career in residential real estate & homebuilding, Jenn is all about creating timeless interiors you’ll love coming home to. Her contagious passion for investing in quality, and intentionally surrounding ourselves with beautiful, meaningful possessions is at the heart of The Curated Home.
We understand the interior design process can often feel overwhelming, and at times intimidating. The intention for our menu of Interior Design Services, our retail stores and online shop is to inject simplicity, purpose and exceptional value for your investment dollar into the design, and home furnishings buying processes.
In addition to our own Curati Collection of custom designed and exclusively manufactured furniture and home decor pieces, we’ve meticulously sourced unique, impeccably designed, exceptionally well-made bedding, fabrics, furniture, lighting, art, accessories, etc. from artisans and manufacturers from around the world. Exquisite linens from Belgium, France and Italy, stunning candles from Denmark, cozy wool throws from New Zealand, Ireland and the UK, triple-milled soaps from Hungary, and Canadian designed and manufactured upholstered and wood furnishings to name a few.

Shelley Hergert
SENIOR DESIGNER
Shelley has a wealth of knowledge in fabrics and wallpaper. After spending three years at DWA, fabric house to the trade, she worked as Showroom Manager at Stewart Drummond Studios, assisting the design community in all areas of fabric and furniture selection for their varied projects. Previous to that she owned a home decor business with her sister, Oak Leaf and Reel. In her free time, she doesn't miss an opportunity to scout out antique stores and estate sales for the perfect treasures for herself and her clients.

Barb Beninger
SENIOR DESIGNER
Barb is a graduate of The Alberta University of The Arts. After graduating she moved to Toronto where she lived for seven years and got her start in the Design industry. She has since spent the last 30 years back in Calgary where she has pursued a career specializing in furniture and window coverings. When she has some downtime you will find her off the grid in her cottage in the woods surrounded by all things beautiful.

Kendra Murphy
STUDIO DIRECTOR
With a background in the interior design and furniture industries, Kendra has worked in Vancouver, Toronto, and Calgary. She loves to collaborate with clients to make their homes feel unique, tailored, and suited to their lifestyle. When she's not designing, you can usually find Kendra moving furniture around in her own house, relaxing with her partner and their two cats, or scheming her next trip to London.
